Our non-invasive prenatal test is 100% risk-free when compared to other prenatal sampling methods which are all invasive. The term invasive refers to the fact that they carry certain risks for the mother and the fetus.

Whilst EasyDNA’s non-invasive test only requires a blood draw from the mother, other invasive tests (such as amniocentesis) require a medical surgeon to extract the baby’s DNA from inside the womb using sterile needles (as happens in amniocentesis and CVS) or a catheter (as happens in CVS only). In addition, the father’s samples can be collected using nails or mouth swab samples.
